By using baubra.com (the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What this is

Baubra is a web application that uses the Google Gemini API to generate multiple-choice quizzes from YouTube video transcripts. The Service offers a free tier and a paid subscription plan ("Baubra Pro").

Account and sign-in

You must sign in with a Google account to generate quizzes. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google for the purpose of identifying your account and managing your subscription.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for unauthorized access to your Baubra account resulting from compromise of your Google credentials.

Free tier and Pro subscription

Free tier: Signed-in users may generate 1 quiz per week at no charge.

Baubra Pro: For a monthly subscription fee (currently $5/month), subscribers receive unlimited quiz generation. The price may change; existing subscribers will be notified before any price increase takes effect on their next billing cycle.

The number of Pro subscriptions may be limited at our discretion.

Billing and cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time via the "Manage" link on baubra.com (which opens Stripe's Customer Portal) or by contacting us directly.
When you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of your current paid billing period. After that, your account reverts to the free tier.
Refunds: We do not offer automatic refunds for partial months. If you believe you were charged in error or have an exceptional circumstance, contact us and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

AI-generated content disclaimer

Quizzes are generated by an AI model (Google Gemini) and can be wrong, biased, or misleading. The AI may misunderstand the transcript, mark wrong answers as correct, or invent information that wasn't in the source video. Always verify anything important. Do not rely on Baubra for medical, legal, financial, academic, or safety-critical decisions.

"As-is" — no warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

We make no guarantee that the Service will be available, error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. The site may be offline at any time without notice. Quiz generation may fail. Forms may not save correctly.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operators of Baubra are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service — including but not limited to inaccurate quiz content, lost work, business losses, academic consequences, or harm caused by relying on AI-generated information.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

Generate content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, or hateful.
Violate anyone's intellectual property rights.
Attempt to abuse, overload, scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent rate limits on the Service.
Share, resell, or redistribute your subscription access.
Use the Service in a way that violates Google Gemini's terms of use: ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms.

Third-party services

Baubra relies on services we don't control:

Google Gemini API — generates quiz questions. Subject to Google's terms.
Google Sign-In — authenticates your account. Subject to Google's terms.
Stripe — processes payments. Subject to Stripe's terms.
YouTube — public video captions are fetched to build transcripts.
Google Apps Script / Google Forms / Google Drive — used by the "Save as Google Form" feature.
Cloudflare — provides the connection between your browser and our server.

If any of those services change, become unavailable, or stop working, parts of Baubra may stop working too. We have no control over that and are not liable for service disruptions caused by third parties.

Copyright

YouTube videos and their transcripts are the copyright of their respective creators. Baubra uses transcripts only to derive comprehension questions and does not host, redistribute, or claim ownership of any source material. If you believe a generated quiz infringes your rights as a copyright holder, please contact us so we can review.

Account termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. If we terminate a paid account without cause, we will refund any unused portion of the current billing period.

Changes to the Service or these terms

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes to pricing or these terms will be communicated to registered users via their email on file.
